Escalation Tournament
I signed up for the Escalation League at my FLGS. It is a four week League starting at 60 points and working it's way up to 150 points. I like this format as it forces you to make some early decisions on how your list scales since you have to keep everything from the week prior. I stuck with what I know best which was Swarms and I thought with the 30 increments added every week Imperial TIE fighters would actually be competitive. So my first list was as follows.
"Howlrunner" (18)
"Mauler Mithel" (17)
Academy Pilot (12)
Academy Pilot (12)
Total: 59
My league match was against three TIE Advanced Prototypes with the TIE/V1 title and Proton Rockets.
Sienar Test Pilot (16)
Proton Rockets (3)
TIE/v1 (1)
Sienar Test Pilot (16)
Proton Rockets (3)
TIE/v1 (1)

Total: 60
As a match up I had 12 Hull vs 6 Hull and 6 Shields and I had combined 8 attack dice vs 6 attack dice. But his action economy and movement dial was better. Those five dice Proton Rockets hurt my TIE fighters bad. While I took out one of the Prototypes and winged another. I lost all my ships. So it was a 59 to 20 loss. The action economy of the TIE/v1 title is really good. You take a Target Lock and receive a free evade token. Also the dial is really good compared to the TIE Fighters'

It has way more green maneuvers plus one banks. While only losing the three K-turn which is really good on the Fighters. Having never played against Advanced Prototypes and a real game in years I think I did fine. It was great to compete for sure.
I played a second game just for fun also against a B-wing and Y-Wing. He was playing Ibtisam with some stress hog mechanic and a Gold squadron with a Twin Linked Laser turret. I can't remember the list completely but I did win that game.
