Escalation League week 3 was 120 points. I decided to continue adding TIE's to the swarm. I added two Epsilon Squadron TIE/FO fighter pilots. These are the lowest TIE/FO pilots you can get which are only three more points than the standard TIE Fighter. For three points you get a shield, the target lock action and a better dial. You lose the three koiogran turn but gain the two Segnor's Loop. The added durability  and maneuverability is a great addition but next time I am thinking that for 14 points you still take a Black Squadron TIE pilot with a four pilot skill and elite pilot talent slot instead. TIE Fighter with Crack Shot for 15 points can do some work. My list was this all said and done.

I ended up playing a Rebel list consisting for a Poe Dameron, Ello Asty, Jess Pava, and a "Dutch" Vander with a Ion Cannon Turrent. My TIE's made quick work of them as I broke into two blocks of TIE Fighters and FO's. Then did a pincer move on the block of T-70's. Only lost a FO and a Fighter in the battle.

I signed up for the Escalation League at my FLGS. It is a four week League starting at 60 points and working it's way up to 150 points. I like this format as it forces you to make some early decisions on how your list scales since you have to keep everything from the week prior. I stuck with what I know best which was Swarms and I thought with the 30 increments added every week Imperial TIE fighters would actually be competitive. So my first list was as follows. X-Wing Miniatures I had quit X-Wing back in  Wave 3. My collection consisted of two original core sets, X-Wing expansion, Y-Wing Expansion, TIE Fighter expansion, TIE Advanced expansion, and a Slave 1. Since I only played with my Brother In Law and there wasn't much of a following in those days it was plenty to throw some dice but not what you would call tournament worthy by far. Question is what to add to get my collection up to par with today's meta. I found a blog that looks promising at  d20radio.com  it had buying lists for all three factions. I always preferred playing Imperials. I just love TIE Fighters and I am really sorry to hear they are not competitive anymore. Scum looks like a ton of fun also since Mandalorians and Bounty Hunters are just pure awesomeness. Looks like I have decisions to make.

Wave 11 revealed

x-wing miniatures *edit - Fantasy Flight just released the article formally introducing these ships* At GAMA which is a gaming trade show in Las Vegas, Fantasy Flight Games revealed 3 ships of Wave 11. Not sure if there are the only ships of Wave 11 but they look pretty cool. Not the photos cause they are not very good but what we know about those ships. In the Imperial corner we have the TIE Aggressor. The TIE Aggressor made an appearance in the MMORPG Star Wars: Galaxies. It looks like a cut down TIE Advanced with a turret on the back half. Looking at the pictures we got there a few things I can decipher. It's got one shield and maybe four hull. Possibly two attack and two defense. It has an action bar of focus, target lock and barrel roll. Point cost of the base pilot is under 20 looks like 19. One of the upgrade cards is a Twin Laser Turret.
